Mette is our first gundog and because of her we both are now very much interested in hunting. Our first plan was that Mette will be only Matti's hunting companion but nowadays there is no hunting day without Satus companion too ;)
Mette is very energetic and she loves to work with us. Our hobbies with her are hunting and training obedience. Sometimes we also go the dog shows.
Mette is the foundation bitch of Qasida's weimaraners. She gave birth to 8 healthy puppies 1st Jan. 2006 - more information of the litter you can find here.
Mette and Satu have won the title "Novice of the year 2005" in our local club for continental pointing gun dogs (Nylands Fågelhundsklubb). NFKs board rewards one dog and his/her owner every year and their criterias are:
- this dog must be the first gun dog for this owner
- they must be active and train regularly
- they must have price(s) from trial(s)
- they think that this couple has potential to develope in the future :)
Mette is accepted in stud books both in Finland and Sweden. For having her stud book number in Finland female weimaraners need to have at least 2nd price from trials, hips A or B and 'very good' from dog shows. Dog must also have excellent healt in every way.
